Hey Mihaela, why haven't you posted any new photos?

If I have any blog readers left? lol Well, yeah, so I've been gone for a while, and some of you have sent me emails asking why am I MIA? Long story... really. Two reasons: 1. Val and I were gone traveling for the most part of May and June....weddings in other states and other countries. Then just recently we came back from a wedding in Seattle to find to our horror that we got robbed and my precious mac was stolen along with 2 or 3 back up drives that I had ( more on this later). So anyhow, it has been slow getting all the equipment set up again. 2. I'm working on a new blog and new website... I have TONS of pictures to update... (this will take a while).

Wedding in Toronto Slideshow :)

Joy is such a joy! No literally, she never stops smiling:) We met last year at Sil's brother's wedding - Val & Andreea ( see first blog entry).

Interesting fact: Joy's florist is the same one that did the flowers for the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I am out of my mind busy and I am soooooooo behind on blogging. I also broke my foot, and so I am taking a break from photographing weddings. I am going to photograph only on a limited basis for a while. NO! I'm going to miss it:), but this is only temporary. Anyhow, I have lots of weddings to blog but I will do that in about a week or so.

Hello Kitty :) Family Photos in Seattle

Wedding in Dearborn, MI

The wedding reception was held at the Italian-American Fraternal Club in Dearborn. I used to work there as a server when I was like 13 yrs old :) LOL Anyhow, the hall is very photogenic, if you know what I mean. Because sometimes I see a place and I think "oh, it's so beautiful" but then that does not translate the same on camera. It has to do with the lighting. Some halls have these massive gorgeous chandeliers and then they turn them off :( This place has chandeliers and little lights that are a photographers dream :)

Preview of Leah & Utu's session, who are so adorable together. Utu made us the best breakfast this morning before we got started on the session, "cheesy eggs" he called it. Yum!
